SAFEGUARDING

Key information:

At Lauren Haith School of Dance the safety and well-being of all students is given the highest importance and all government guidelines and regulations to ensure the protection of all students are followed rigorously. As such, all staff undergo safeguarding training every year and all teaching staff hold an up-to-date First Aid qualification.

All staff hold up-to-date dance qualifications, Registered Teacher Status (RTS) and a clean Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (formerly Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check).

At Lauren Haith School of Dance we use a ‘hands-on teaching method’ which means teachers use the physical placement of their hands to help position the student so as to ensure students learn and understand positions safely and correctly to give them the best possible training.

The school’s Safeguarding Officer is Lauren Haith. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the health and safety or wellbeing of our students please do not hesitate to get in touch here.
